An excerpt from my book: The 1 Minute Guide to Health, Wealth, and Happiness: Wisdom from the book of Proverbs from the July 8th page reflecting on Chapter 8:

“Today’s power verse can be found in verse 15 : By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

One of the reasons we encounter failure in our lives is simply because we fail to recognize who we are and Whose we are. When we have the right image (the right concept in our mind, will, and emotions) we can then instinctively make the right decisions that will bring about the results we are searching for. One form to build up your inner image is through prayer.

In Revelation 1:6 we are told: And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. In God’s eyes, He’s already made us kings and priests. Kings reign; priests administer.

In order to reign in your life, first realize that it is, as our power verse states, by Him that we get to reign and decree. Second, exercise your right to do so.

Decree (decide with authority) justice (what God says is right) in your life. Vocalize it unafraid knowing that everything He’s promised you is yes and amen (2nd Cr. 1:20).

It is not a lie to say what God says, even if your current life doesn’t reflect it. What you see is subject to change. You have been given the authority (the right to) and the power (the might to) change it. Heaven will back you up, but only if you agree with what God is says is true.

Question for Reflection:

So what does God say about your present circumstances?”

I hope that this little excerpt from the July 8th page empowered you in some way.
